First off, what is camp?

CAMP TBCØ is four days filled with fun, friends and encounters with Jesus! We are prepping for the new school year by learning that when we have accepted Jesus as our Savior, we have an UNBREAKABLE bond with God. (Romans 8:38-39) From the lake to late night activities, worship and teaching, kids will not only grow in their relationship with God but with each other too! If your child is new to church, this is the best place to solidify new friendships! We’ll spend time in incredible worship, learning from amazing speakers and we’ll have a blast on the camp grounds as well! Ocoee Retreat Center has everything you could ever want from a blob to waterslides, swimming, ropes courses, and so much more!!

Feel free to check out their website for more information. Keep in mind we won’t be using every activity that they have.

Will my child be safe?

Your child’s safety is of utmost importance to us! Because of this, our adult to child ratio is extremely low with a minimum of two adults per cabin and many others on campus to assist. Each adult on campus will have secured a background check. Kids will be placed in cabins based on their age and gender. Bathroom facilities are gender specific and adults on campus will never shower at the same time as children!

Our team follows more than minimum protocol on CPR certifications, lifeguard certifications and will have medical staff on site to administer medication or make emergency decisions if needed.

What about meals and snacks?

From dinner on Tuesday to lunch on Friday, each meal will be covered by camp! We will offer several snack options as well. If your child chooses to bring any snacks, please be sure they are nut free! If your child has any allergies please list them in the appropriate section when registering them so we can be sure to accommodate!

Your camp isn’t in Nashville, how will my child get there?

Our camp is at Ocoee Retreat Center in Ocoee TN about an hour outside of Chatanooga. You’re more than welcome to bring your child to camp, but this year we’ll be offering a bus to and from camp with an additional cost of 20 dollars. The cutoff date of bus registration will be a week before camp. Upon drop off at the bus, if someone else will be picking up your child, please inform camp registration staff.

How can I contact you?

Feel free to email kids@thebelonging.co with any questions! We will also ensure you have email and phone number information during the camp week.

Cellphones, friends, and etc.

Our goal is that your child has the absolute BEST time encountering God and building community with friends. Because of this, we’re asking that your child does not bring his or her cell phone to camp. Belonging Co. Staff and leadership will have their phones should the need arise.

We’re working our best to put your child with their friends at camp! We’ve asked that in your registration you put the name of a friend your child would want to be with in their cabin and are doing our best to ensure this happens!

What if I can’t afford to send my child to camp?

PLEASE don’t let money be a reason to miss camp. We’ve set up a scholarship application form here. Email us with any questions or concerns you may have.

How much will camp cost? And can I get my money back if my child can’t go?

Camp will be $325 for the entire four days with an early bird discount of $299 until March 31st. Keep an eye out for the sibling discount, at 20 dollars after your first child. We do have a refund policy in place. You can get a full refund (excluding fees) if you cancel before May 16th and a half refund (excluding fees) if you were to cancel between May 16th and June 1st, at which point we will no longer be able to accommodate refunds.

What should my child pack?

We remember how much fun we had packing for camp, so be sure to check your email closer to June for a detailed list!
